It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Samantha Logan Ruttan while on vacation in Mykonos, Greece, on August 8, 2021.

Treasured and adored daughter of Paul and Sharon, much loved and devoted sister and sister-in-law of Ally and Jared Bruce, dear granddaughter of Howard, forever soulmate of Tommy Theocharis. Pre-deceased by her loving grandparents Irving and Elizabeth Wolfstadt and Cory Ruttan. Sam was a cherished niece, cousin, and friend to absolutely everyone she met.

Sam loved the life she lived. Sam would always fight for the underdog whenever she felt unfairness or injustice was occurring. Sam was a force to be reckoned with and she was fiercely loyal and protective of her family and her friends. Sam set trends with fashion, home decorating and food; she was an influencer before influencing was a thing. Sam had an infectious personality, a heart of gold, a twinkle in her eyes and the most adorable dimple in her cheek that endeared her to everyone she knew. Our lives are better because of Sam and we will never be the same without her. Her memory and her adventurous spirit will live on in our hearts and minds forever.

A graveside service will be held. Due to COVID restrictions, the service will be by invitation-only.
