In memory of

Samantha April Lovell

April 1, 1974 -  January 10, 2019

It is with heavy hearts and sadness our loving family said our final goodbyes to Samantha. A loving daughter of Gloria & Lionel, a beloved sister of Lesley and a cherished mother of Jaydyn. Samantha will also be dearly missed by her Aunt Yvonne, cousins Debbie and Lori, second cousins Tim and Paul and by many other family and friends. Samantha's departure has left an emptiness in our family and immense sadness in our hearts that will never be replaced!

After a 4yr. battle with ovarian cancer, and family by her side, Samantha passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 10, 2019. She fought, and fought, and fought right to her last breath – she is our WARRIOR! If love alone could have kept her here, she would have lived forever. But God needed a Warrior in heaven, who is as special as she is! We will forever hold her memory close to our hearts and take comfort knowing she is no longer in pain. When the sun is shining bright, we know she is smiling down on us with her big infectious smile!!

Samantha, we miss you today, tomorrow and forever! ❤❤❤

Warmest thanks to the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital and Toronto Grace Hospital (Palliative Care Unit) for their care during Samantha’s battle. Per Samantha's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance to celebrate her life will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre on Saturday, March 30 at 2 p.m., with reception to follow. Family & Friends welcome at 1 p.m. At Samantha's request, she asked that everyone wear white to her Celebration of Life.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in memory of Samantha to Princess Margaret Ovarian Cancer Research by clicking "Make a Donation" below.

Dear Sam - I feel fortunate to have met you and your family in my neighbourhood here near Tee Pee Point Park where we shared some beautiful days at the beach. Although our friendship was brief, and you were not that well, I still felt a close connection with you - maybe it was the Aries connection but I'm sure we would've been long time friends. I send my love to your family and I know your spirit will always be with them!
