I will miss our twice weekly chats. I appreciate you putting up with my questions to try and learn more about your younger days; even if you didn't want to answer all of them, or wonder why I was asking. You certainly kept me on the ball with current baseball information and stats.
I will miss you. xo

My deepest sympathies to the family. I know Sam from the Westbury. My mothers room is directly across from Sam's. I will surely miss seeing him sitting there at the end of the hall, either reading the paper, or singing Everything is Beautiful! He always seemed happy to see my sister and I as much as we were happy to see him! Not the same without you Sam. God Bless! He was one of a kind. We both grew very fond of you..

Thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. I met Sam at Chartwell Westbury where he became a good friend to my Mom. I will keep the memories of Sam and my mom sitting side by side in the hallway reading their newspapers or Sam singing “Everything is Beautiful”.. or discussing the latest baseball game…. Rest In Peace Sam, you will be missed!
