It is with great sadness that we announce that Salvatore "Sam" Rabito, (69), passed away on November 21st, 2023, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a brief battle with lung cancer, surrounded by his beloved family.

Salvatore was predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Giuseppina and his brother Giuseppe. He will be missed by his loving wife Ginette, stepchildren, Melissa (Stephen), Craig (Jennie) and Warren (Leah) grandchildren, Kael, Benjamin, Hazel and Cairo, his brothers, Corrado and Giovanni (Carla), nephew Mike, his nieces Vittoria and Mary Ann (Chad), sister-in-law Lynn and great niece Isabella.

Salvatore fought health issues for many years. Despite spending much of that time in the hospital, he never lost his sense of humor or his kind heart. Throughout his entire journey, he kept a smile on his face and took joy in spending time with his grandchildren. He always had a kind word for everyone and always tried to put others before himself. Sam will be dearly missed.
