On January 21st, 2025 we lost our cherished Papà and Nonno, Salvatore Floriddia. Born on January 6th, 1929 in Rosolini, Sicily, Italy. Salvatore was the son of Francesco Floriddia and Concetta Schiffito. He was the brother to Giovanni, Corrado and Giuseppe.

Salvatore immigrated from Rosolini, Italy to Toronto, Canada in 1963 with his family and built a beautiful life here. He had a career as a carpenter and enjoyed making exquisite furniture.
He and his wife Rosa had 3 wonderful children, Frank, Josie and Amelia. He is survived by them, his son in law Franco, his daughter in law Marisa and his grandchildren (his nipoti) Lissana, Alex, Adriana, Clarissa, Rosanne, Daniella and Viviana. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Liliana and Violette.
He was very independent and enjoyed playing cards and socializing with his friends. Salvatore will be remembered for his generosity, his sense of humour, and his caring and loving nature. He truly touched the hearts of everyone that he met.
We will all miss our loving Papà and Nonno so much and are so grateful for all of the treasured memories we have with him that will last a lifetime.
