In memory of

Sadhana Grewal

July 13, 1963 -  February 2, 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of Sadhana Grewal announces her sudden passing on February 2, 2019 at the age of 55 years. It will be extremely difficult to replace what she meant to all her family and friends. She was extremely intelligent and was usually the go to person in the family for advice. She loved to help others even if it meant taking away from her time or resources. She was extremely talented and loved to dance. Dancing was her way to express herself and she continued to do it for 50+ years. She danced on TV when she was younger and was extremely modest about her accomplishments. She was very friendly and someone you could approach for anything and would respond back in a non-judgmental tone. She left her mark on everyone around her and will missed. She will always be in our thoughts and hearts. She has gone too soon and her kids will miss her dearly. We hope that she will be apart of their lives for their marriages and their own kids. We invite everyone to celebrate her life on February 6th and honour the impact she made on everyone around her.

In life, her biggest wish was to make life easier for cancer patients. In lieu of a donation to the family, please feel free to make a donation to the nearest cancer foundation to you. The donation tab will direct you to reputable cancer charities.

Thank you.

We met in university, had many fun times in our circle of friends, closed the library on many nights and shared our hopes and dreams about the future. Most of all I was pleased to know her as my friend. When Sanjay and Anjali were born it was one of the happiest times of her life. With her health challenges over the past few years her humour and laughter continued. I will always remember her bright smile!
