Ryan Oliver Walters, age 42, sadly, passed away on December 1st, 2023 from complications of the heart.
Born on February 20th, 1981 to parents, Michael and Monica Walters (Parbattie Badal) in Georgetown, Guyana. By the age of 2, he boarded a plane to Scarborough, Canada, the city where he grew up.
Ryan wore many hats and had many talents. As a student, he excelled, earning high grades and respect from his teachers. As an athlete, he collected trophies and recognition in many sports, but baseball meant the most to him, winning him the MVP title.
His passions extended beyond sports and academia and into the arts. As an artist, he loved drawing, always doodling, pencil in hand. He found inspiration in movies and books, reading anything he could get his hands on,
Ryan, a beautiful person that never hesitated to say "I love you", whether it was the words themselves, through a hug, or by sharing a song, one that was special to him. He listened to all kinds of music, but Soca and Reggae were his favourite, the kind of music that makes you want to dance and be happy.
He loved his parents and his family, the eldest child of six, the big brother, son. A role that mattered to him, one he took very seriously, caring for his siblings and respecting his parents.
Ryan loved God with his whole heart. Faith in our Lord, gave him strength and hope and his devotion to Jesus is an inspiration to so many.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Monica and his siblings, Shaun, Stephen, Felicia, Natasha and Shane.
