Ryan James Young
February 7, 1987 - July 17, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend Ryan. He was the Loving Father of Madisyn, Kayden, Kolton and Shay who he loved with all his heart. Dearest son of Lesley and Colin Young. Big brother to Kyle (Melanie). Nephew of Tim (Grace), Merrie Ann, Terri, Peter, Cathy (Ian), Andrew (Ning), Warren and the late Gary (Clara). Cousin to Branden (Britt), Logan (Daryl), Tierin, Luigi (Tensin) and Curt, Tyler (Kayleigh) & Brittany and Holly (Rob), Sarah, Zach, Michael & Chloe and their families. Grandson to the late Charles & Merry Weeks and Jack & Jackie Young. Will always be fondly remembered by the mother of his children Brittany Trites and her many family members.
We will always remember you as a joker, a kind hearted man, someone who would always help someone in a time of need but also stood his ground when he believed in something. He loved his children with all his heart and was so proud of them all. He always wanted to buy them things and to take them places and to be their Dad the best way he knew how. As a son and brother, he was very loving, caring, generous and always said “I Love You”.
Ryan had his struggles in life recently and was recently supported by The Sobriety House in Ottawa and we are very grateful for his counsellor Mark and friend Kyle who have reached out to us with nothing but wonderful comments of Ryan along with many other of his lifelong friends including Janette, Megan, Barry, Chris, Scott and so many more. Thank you to everyone for being there for us throughout this difficult time. We will miss Ryan dearly and will always treasure the special moments we had with him.
Ryan’s Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 30th at The Simple Alternative, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga. Visitation from 1:00-2:00pm and Service at 2:00pm, Reception to follow.
