In memory of

Ruth Traya

July 6, 1939 -  November 15, 2022

We are saddened to announce that Ruth Traya, after many months of battling cancer has succumbed to her illness. She fought bravely, with dignity and a calm mind. She consistently thought of others throughout her life and her battles. She was always concerned with others well-being and was very selfless in all that she did. Surrounded by family, she passed from our world and entered into her long rest, joining her pre-deceased husband of 60 years, Agustin Traya Sr. The family is content knowing Ruth is no longer in pain and is in a better place with her life long partner.

Ruth / Mamang went through life with passion, compassion, a pleasant disposition and a friendly, giving soul. Her smile and can-do attitude will be missed for all that knew her. As a prominent member of the SDA church, she positively impacted so many lives and was always there to help. We thank them for their condolences and prayers.

Ruth leaves behind 5 children (Leah, Agustin Jr, Jose, Jay and Grace), 17 grandchildren, 2 great grand children and countless others from the communities she lived in.

She will be sadly missed. Leaving behind fond memories, warm hearts and cherished moments.

Goodnight Mamang and rest well. You fought a good fight, and I know our Heavenly Father will welcome you to His Kingdom saying, "Well done, my child...a good and faithful servant"

Thank you for the legacy of faith, love and loyalty that you leave behind. You are truly an inspiration to me as I witnessed how you always took care of everyone else, always putting yourself last. And then when it was your turn, how bravely you fought to stay for your children, enduring pain and suffering, yet keeping your faith strong and unwavering. And in the end, gracious as you are, you welcomed the Lord's call to come home and claim your crown.

Enjoy paradise Mamang! Please give a hug to Papang and my own folks there. I am sure you all are together now. I love you and I will always be thankful to have had the honor of knowing you and having you in my life.
