Ruth passed knowing she was dearly loved and cherished. She was born in Berlin, Germany, and emigrated to Canada in 1954. Here she met her late husband Heinz. She is survived by her two children Carl (Karen) and Theresa. Oma to Jake, Mary Grace, Natasha and Emma. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and they were the center of her world. At Ruth's request there will be no service and cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the staff on 2 West at Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering for their care and compassion in Ruth's final days. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the hospital. She can now rest with her beloved Heinz.
