In memory of

Ruth Craig

September 26, 1924 -  October 12, 2017

Ruth Craig passed away peacefully on Thursday October 12, 2017 at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill.
Born in 1924 in Toronto, Ruth is survived by her four children; Hal, Stephen and his wife Margaret, Susan and her husband James, Ian and his wife Tania, as well as her loving grandchildren Tonya and Camille and her great grandchildren Robin and Madison. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Robert Clayton Craig, as well as her brother Roger and sister Joan.

Ruth spent her working years developing her own entrepreneurial ventures in the equestrian industry. After retiring, she was actively involved in her beloved community of King City, her church and Seniors Club. Late in life she found an unexpected true passion in art and became an accomplished artist. Her paintings became family members to all of us.

Special thanks to the amazing team at Hill House Hospice for their wonderful care in helping us through this challenging time.

A memorial service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church in king City ( 12935 Keels Street ) on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm. We kindly request you direct "In Memoriam" donations to the Hill House Hospice, 36 Wright Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4C 4A1 www.hillhousehospice.com

Ruth was a treasured extended family member. She helped my family with our horse-related needs. She was essential after my mother died even though it took her away from helping as her mother died shortly thereafter. She always told it like it was.
