September 14, 1937 - October 12, 2017

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ruth of the Town of Richmond Hill on October 12th, 2017 at the age of 80. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survived by her loving husband Walter, daughters Marilyn (Greg), Karen (Bruce) and Shirley (Kevan), Grandmother of Jennifer (Dan), Martin and Kyle, Great Grandmother of Caleb, Emily and Lucas. Friends are invited to call at the ELGIN MILLS FUNERAL CENTRE (1591 Elgin Mills Road E, Richmond Hill) Friday, October 20th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, October 21st at 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Ruth was a lovely lady I know at work. She's a cheerful and friendly person. We all love her and had a fond memory of her. She is surely missed by all who know her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.
