Russell Kwong passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2023. Russell touched the lives of so many, and will be forever remembered by his wife Gwen, his mother Marie, his relatives, friends and colleagues. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on April 30, 2023 at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre. A catered reception will follow.

This is such sad news to have to say goodbye to such a great friend and far to young. This world will not be the same with out him.

Russell was an amazing friend. I met him through my best friend (Gwen, Russell's wife). He was always looking for ways to help people. Whether it was helping us locate the latest technology, like the best running App or sending us links to the perfect restaurant or sleuthing out the latest, coolest board games that a group of us would regularly play, Russell would immediately offer up the perfect solution. Russell was a straight shooter and an honest person - two qualities that are hard to find. He was also an inspiration. Devoted to running, he had that quiet, steadfast determination. His dedication and committment were evident in his actions which never stopped speaking louder than words. Most importantly, he was a devoted partner to my best friend. It was clear that he put her first. I'd see it in all the little things he'd do for her. Russell will be sorely missed by all his friends.

I’m so sorry to hear that Russell passed. He’s one of the most kind and genuine people I knew growing up together. We’ve had many fun times with him and all our cousins. We are left with many great memories and he will always be missed. My condolences to Aunt Marie and Gwen.

So sorry to hear this and especially about someone so young, kind, smart and funny. I had the pleasure of working with Russell for a couple of years but it was enough to know how truly amazing he was. Such a shock to hear this.
