In memory of

Rudyard Carl McKenzie

May 8, 1941 -  August 5, 2021

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Rudyard Carl McKenzie on August 5th, 2021.

Known by many names….Mac, Big Mac, Mr. Mac, Ruds and I’m sure there are others but he was more affectionately known as just Ruddy.

Born in St. Thomas, Jamaica, set abroad to England for schooling in the 60’s and eventually settling in Brampton, ON Canada in the early 70’s.

Ruddy is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Thelma McKenzie and survived by four (4) daughters, two (2) sons, eighteen (18) grandchildren and twelve (12) great-grandchildren.

Over the past year he was unable to enjoy his love of fishing, gardening and cooking to the full extent but that is not to say he didn’t try. Christmas won’t be the same without his curried crab and shrimp.

Although his sun has set, he will be forever remembered by family and friends.
