Passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa at the age of 90. Rudy Boettcher was born in Koenigsberg, Germany, the son of Frederich and Helena Boettcher. He was employed at General Motors before retiring in 1986. Rudy is survived by his loving wife Janet (nee Reid), his brother Martin (Margaret) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Werner and Bruno and sisters Gerda Seifert and Annamarie Gillwald. As per Rudy’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
