Ruby will be lovingly remembered and missed terribly by her daughters Sharon Mercer, Judy Collins (Jim), Christine Cox and Starlene Hedd (Keith), her grandchildren Danielle (Henry and Natalia), Deanna and Darrien Mercer, Stephen (Candice, Viv, Jordon and Nicolas), Brandon (Jacklyn and Little Mister) and Corin Collins, Rebecca Hedd (Danny), and her nephew that she considered a grandson, Andrew Pasher (Lyle, Layton and Everleigh).

Ruby is survived by her siblings Bob, Wes, Linda, Donny, Sharon and Judy Peddle.

The family would like to offer many thanks to the staff at Michael Garron Hospital that cared for Mom for their kind and compassionate care.

Ruby will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her extended family, and many friends.

A Visitation will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday, January 17, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
