It is with great sadness that the family of Ebubechukwu Rowland Obinyelaku announced his passing on January 29th, 2022.
Rowland was born in Oraukwu in Anambra on July 6th, 1945 in Nigeria. He came to Canada in 1974 and married his lovely wife Grace Uwaezuoke Emeraghi Agwu in 1977.
Rowland is known to be quite the scholar. He studied at Seneca College and went on to the University of Windsor and The University of Toronto where he received his Phd in Political Science. In addition to his scholastic accomplishments, he was also the author of a novel titled Friends of Jesus.
Rowland was a true man of God and committed to helping his community. He leaves behind a legacy of leadership, service and commitment and we will not soon forget his impact.

Attendance is by invitation only. A face covering must be worn. As directed by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario the attendance at the funeral and cemetery indoors is restricted to the capacity of the room to maintain social distancing. A record of attendance must be maintained. Respecting the current pandemic situation, the family have requested that all guests are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, proof of vaccination and identification will be required upon entry to the funeral home.
