In memory of

Rowena Maud D'Cruz

November 1, 1934 -  November 8, 2022

Prayers are requested for the soul of Rowena Maud D’Cruz who passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2022 at the age of 88 years old, shortly after celebrating her birthday on November 1st. She was the beloved wife of Joseph (Joe) D’Cruz, her husband of 64 years, the loving mother to son, Clyde, daughter Dilys, and grandmother to their children Stephanie, Christian, Sheldon, Jordan and Keenan. During her earlier, healthful years, Rowena enjoyed camping, cruising and travel with friends and family to warm, sunny places, and ocean beaches. A woman of deep faith, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of visiting the Holy Land on her 25th wedding anniversary. Musically talented, Rowena loved to play the Hammond organ, and sing. Rowena had a green thumb with her house filled with thriving lush plants. Entering her senior years, she attended weekly functions enjoying time with numerous friends at the Canorient Seniors Club.

May her dear soul rest in peace. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Friends and relatives may call at the Meadowvale Funeral Centre, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, ON (2 lights south of Steeles Ave) for a visitation on Thursday, November 17, 2022 between 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.; 6:30pm-8:00pm and on Friday, November 18, 2022 between 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with a burial to take place at Meadowvale Cemetery immediately after.
