On Thursday, February 23, 2023, Mrs. Rou-Su Susan Fang passed away peacefully in her home after 75 years on this earth. Born in Yuyao China, Susan grew up in Taiwan where she studied entomology before immigrating to Canada in the late 1970’s where she taught herself English and computer programming.

Known for her warm smile and generous spirit, Susan instinctively gave of herself, always with the hope of inspiring a little more joy in others. She had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a seemingly endless reservoir of hidden talents, including painting, wood-carving, and singing.

Susan will be deeply missed by her surviving family, which includes her husband Walter, daughters Jennifer and Christine, and their husbands James and Michael, respectively. She is also survived by her brothers Pinwang and Yeewang, her sister Roxanne, and her grandchildren Charlotte, Selene, Ethan, and James. A private funeral service is planned for Monday, March 6th at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre. A celebration of life service will follow in June.
