Ross Ellwood Souch, born December 9, 1932 in Toronto, passed away peacefully at age 91 on March 17, 2024, surrounded by loving friends and family.

Ross was a warm and loving man who cherished his family and took great delight in being with every one of them. He was married to the love of his life, Marie, for 31 wonderful years. His kindness, compassion and generous spirit were evident to all that knew him.

Ross will be forever missed by his stepchildren, Grant Rumford (Miriam) and Paul Rumford (Meredith) and grandchildren, Michelle Hope Rumford-Rodgers (Mike), Madison Rumford (Andrew), Samantha Rumford (Michael), Riley Rumford, Jacob Rumford and Kaitlyn Rumford. He was also so proud of great-grandson, Lachlan Rodgers and a great fan of friend and brother-in-law, Sidney Daniels.

Ross will be remembered by many for his dedication and his many decades of service to the Toronto Police Auxiliary.

Visitation will take place at
The Simple Alternative
1535 South Gateway Road
Mississauga, On L4W5J1
Monday, April 1 at 10:00am.
A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:30am
All are invited to join us at a reception that will be held after the service.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Ross’s name to Covenant House or The Alzheimer Society of Peel.

I remember Ross as a real gentleman, a warm and kind person. I fondly look back at the many years that I had the privilege of working with him at the Toronto Police Service. Rest In Peace my friend. My God bless you.
