In memory of

Roslyn Ann Bailey (née Kester)

October 26, 1930 -  March 7, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved mother, Roslyn Ann Bailey (née Kester), on Friday, March 7, 2025. She left this world peacefully, surrounded by the love of her daughters and grandchildren, finding rest after a long and beautiful life. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely remains in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Roslyn was a woman of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and boundless love. She was the heart of our family, a guiding light whose kindness and wisdom touched everyone she met. Fierce, strong, and bold, she carried herself with grace, always putting the needs of others before her own, and she gave endlessly without ever asking for anything in return. Her warmth, laughter, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

She leaves behind a family who will cherish her memory forever: her daughters Ruth, Dorothy; her sons Tony and William; her grandchildren Paul, Rudolph, Ashley, Marlon, Rachel, Daniel, Renee, and Ethan; and her great-grandchildren Jordyn, Kassidy, Jordyn Renee, Aliyah, Marlon Jr., D’Psalm, Christian, and Luke. She is also mourned by her youngest sister, Irene, her cousin Mabel overseas, as well as her nieces and nephews back home. She is now reunited in eternal peace with her late daughter Marilyn (Marlene) and sisters Judy and Carrie, her brothers Freddie, Robert, George, William.

Roslyn dedicated many years of her life to Garrets Manufacturing, Ingersoll Rand, Airport Security, and the Southdown Tim Hortons, where she built lasting friendships and touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity.

Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, for a Visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. Funeral Service will follow at 11a.m.

Though she has left this world, her love lives on—in the hearts of her children, in the laughter of her grandchildren, and in the legacy of kindness she has left behind. She is at peace now, embraced by those who went before her, forever watching over the family she loved so deeply.

Rest well, Mom. Your love was a gift, your presence a blessing, and your memory will be cherished always.
