It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and nonna Rosina. She will forever be missed.

Her strength, endurance, and immense willpower has been an inspiration to us all. Her witty comebacks made us feel better during difficult times. She was a kind, loving Mamma, Nonna, Zia and friend. She never missed the opportunity to put others needs before hers. She was selfless.

A proud Canadian with strong Italian heritage, she arrived in Halifax on September 30, 1959 and travelled to Toronto to marry her husband Luigi. Motherhood soon followed and became her biggest purpose. She raised her three children and taught them to be dependable, hard-working, and caring. Eternally proud mother and mother-in-law to Nadia & Faris, Marco & Jennylee, and Ornella & Greg.

Her biggest accomplishment was rewarded with her greatest legacy, her six granddaughters, Jacqueline, Victoria, Zara, Amanda, Sabrina and Sierra. She was fiercely proud of each one of them. She cherished every visit, sleepover and meal shared with them. She loved being their Nonna.

Her door was always open and she welcomed family, friends and neighbours in with open arms. She is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.
