Please accept my heartfelt condolences. The sudden passing of someone meaningful in ones life is never easy to comprehend, let alone accept. I was fortunate in having the honour and privilege of Rose's friendship and support when I joined the Queensway General Hospital's health team. She was truly an exemplary role model for a health care provider, as was demonstrated by her unwavering commitment, level of expertise and leadership abilities.
During these introspective times, we can all be enlightened by
focusing on her meaningful contributions to her family and the countless lives of people who benefited from her health care expertise and take solace in knowing that she achieved, what every person sets out to accomplish, a full and worthy life.

I first met Rose at an annual meeting of ONA. I was a leader with her and then joined forces again when we organized Trillium. She was a great leader; caring, funny and an inspiration to many.
Hey Rose, thank goodness we got the extra10cents for on-call way back when eh!!
I have many happy memories of Rose as I’m sure you all do.
My sympathies to her family.
Blessings

An extraordinary lady and nurse who advocated for not only her patients but also for her colleagues and friends. A lady I had the honour of knowing and someone I could call a friend. A nurse who cared like no other and “set the tone” for future nurses.
Rose, I knew you from the young age of a toddler. You worked side by side not only my mother (Heather Blachford) but also my grandmother (Florence) who was the VP of nursing at Queensway. You will surely be missed my friend just like the others who were part of the Queensway family. Say HI to Marg, Wes and my Nana Florence. Rest easy my friend, we got it from here and your legacy will live on xoxo
