Roopmala Verma

Roopmala (Mala) Verma, age 66, was born on May 17th in Lucknow, India and passed away in Mississauga, Ontario on September 21, 2019 with her family by her side.

She married Vipin Verma in 1978, and they travelled and lived together in India, Dubai, Austria, United States, and finally settled in Canada. Mala will be lovingly remembered by her husband and children Arjun, Kiran (Rovin) and Tara. Mala was the daughter of the late Bhupendra Bhalla and Chand Bhalla and will be fondly missed by her sisters Bharti Chopra and Anuradha Chandra. Mala was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

A viewing and funeral service in memory of Mala will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the Meadowvale Crematorium (7732 Mavis Road, Brampton). A private cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hindu Heritage Centre where she enjoyed spending time.
