Roopatie passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at her side at Toronto General Hospital. She is survived by her brothers Nato and Surendra; Sisters Kamal, Amowatie and Shama; cousins, nephews, nieces and extended family.

Visitation at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre- 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, ON. M4T 2V8 on Wednesday, July 26th promptly at 9:30 am with Chapel Service to start at 10 am sharp.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the VHA Home Care as well as Personal Support Workers, and the caring Doctors and Nurses in the Cardiac Wing of the Toronto General Hospital for their exceptional care and unwavering compassion during this difficult time.
