Romeo Robles, beloved husband, devoted father and cherished grandfather, passed away on November 10, 2023, at age 76, after a relatively short battle with Dementia. He was both a cancer and stroke survivor, and has left behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unforgettable memories.

Born on March 3, 1947, in Puerto Rivas, Philippines, Romeo (Remy to most who knew him) spent his formative years in the vibrant city he called home. Eventually, life led him to emigrate and settle in Toronto, Ontario in Canada, where he created a beautiful life filled with love and happiness.

Remy's main joy in life came from family. He shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife, Aida, creating a strong and enduring partnership. Together, they raised two children and helped to raise 4 grandchildren, building a home filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.

Other than family, Remy had many other passions. He loved to repair and maintain cars, especially when those cars belonged to friends or family. When he wasn’t working on cars, he would most likely be bowling or playing tennis and often travelled all across the USA to bowl in tournaments. His home is flush with bowling and tennis trophies, a testament to his love of and prowess at sport.

Remy will forever be remembered by neighbours, friends and family as a man who was generous to a fault. When called for in a time of need, he would drop everything to aid friends and family without question, and fade away into the background once help was no longer needed. He never asked for anything in return, nor did he seek recognition for his selfless acts.

His warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will continue to inspire all fortunate enough to have known him. May his soul find eternal peace and his memory live on in our hearts.
