In memory of

Roger Desautels

December 29, 1961 -  May 9, 2020

In loving memory of Roger William Desautels, may he forever rest in peace.

Roger "Bakepot" Desautels was born on December 29th, 1961 in St. John's, Newfoundland and passed away suddenly due to a heart attack on May 09th, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario. Roger was a son to Edward and June Desautels, a brother to Patricia, Susan, Edward, Robert, Denise, Andy and Jim, a father to Corey, Junita, Rejul and Arniel, and a husband to his beautiful wife Juliet.

There are not enough words to describe Rog and not enough people in the world like him. He was special. Rog always put others before him and always made sure his loved ones were taken care of. He was a hard working man and was willing to head to work regardless of the time to ensure that there was "money for his hunny". Rog worked for the City of Toronto for 30+ years and was loved by his co-workers. He was a family man and would do anything for his family to make them happy, especially for his little princess, Junita. Rog was friendly and all of the memories with him are full of joy, smiles and laughs because he was such a positive person.

We love and we miss you.

A funeral and celebration of life will be held for Roger in future dates.

As a final message, the family of Roger Desautels would kindly ask instead of donating money/flowers to the family, please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada as a way to honour him.

I will love you forever and always daddy. Everything I do will always be for you. I will follow what you want me to do, which is go to collage and become successful like you. I will always aspire to be like you, as you are a kind, giving, funny, humble man that never cared about the negatives in life. I will forever love you daddy.
