BUZZELL, Roger Keith

Roger passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital on June 12, 2022 at the age of 88. Loving husband of Ruby for over 65 years. Loving dad of Dave (Shelley). Adored pops of Josh (Jen), Kevin (Michelle) and Wade (Bre). Great grandfather of Ora and Lyra. Roger will also be missed by extended family and friends. Those who knew Roger will remember him for his great sense of humour. He was a long time employee of General Motors and enjoyed over 28 years of retirement after 37.3 years of service. The family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate nursing staff of St. Michael’s for the phenomenal care and professionalism shown to Roger and his family. As per his own wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787). Donations will be gratefully accepted for the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
