Roderick George Jack, 77, known familiarly to family and friends as “Rod”, died peacefully at Ajax Pickering hospital on December 22nd, 2018, after a brief two month illness. Noelle, his wife of 55 years, was at his side. He will be greatly missed by his sister Dawn, niece Jenny, and nephews, Jamie and Rob along with numerous cousins and "grands". His wife’s nephews, Peter and Charles and his nieces, Mary and Alex also grieve the loss of a dear uncle. Grateful thanks go to the several doctors and nurses who attended Rod with such personal and professional care. A private celebration of his life will be held at the family home in June. Dear Noelle and family, I am very sad to hear of Rod's passing. He was one of the most outstanding and memorable member of our MBA class. He was an active member of all classes and his friendliness and good spirits will always be in my memory.
He will also be remembered for the endless work he did for the many reunions the he orchestrated to help keep the graduating members a close group. Many great hours were spent with Rod in the two great years of my life...many great memories.
Sincerely, Carl de Jong
