In memory of

Rocco "Tony" Antonio Morra

December 11, 1959 -  April 28, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Rocco “Tony” Antonio Morra, of Mississauga on the 28th of April, at the age of 62 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Tony was born on December 11th, 1959 in Toronto, Ontario, although he would have told you he was born in Toronto, but “made” in Italy. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 23 years, Tina; and children Christina, Ashley, Steven (Mel), Vanessa; and grandchildren Tessa, Zoey, and Rocco; as well as numerous relatives, colleagues, and friends.

He was a loving and dedicated son to Assunta and predeceased father Rosario, and loving brother to predeceased Carmela. Tony was determined to provide for his family and give them the life they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he proudly and often mentioned. He was a social, fun-loving man who was always the life of the party. His smile and laugh were contagious.
Tony was a devoted employee at Cascades Recovery as a Plant Manager and spent over 30 years working in the recycling industry where he made lasting friendships and an impact on every one of his colleagues.

We will always cherish our loving memories of him, and he will remain forever in our hearts. Much gratitude is expressed to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Princess Margaret, Sunnybrook, and Credit Valley Hospital. Friends and family will be received at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (North of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), on Wednesday May 4, 2022 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday May 5, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Precious Blood Parish with Interment and Reception to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
