Robin and his two beautiful boys came to stay with me one summer. I had a lakeside guest house and Robin gave me in exchange for their stay, 3 days as my personal chef. He began by taking me shopping and showing me how to choose everything from the right cuts of meat to selecting a grapefruit! He prepared the most wonderful dishes. I learned how to make reductions for sauce, perfect cherries jubilee and the best pastry ever. We laughed and talked for hours and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. I will cherish this wonderful memory. I have known the Masuda family for over 30 years and am deeply saddened by Robin's passing.
Sending love and sincere sympathy, Lynn Johnston

There aren't any words to express how much I miss you sweetheart. I have so many wonderful and funny memories of us and our funny little jokes when you would call me Schmarin. You took me to so many places and I hold all those memories close to my heart. God I wish I could see your Honda back in my laneway right alongside of your Dad's car I bought off him. You reached in and put a string of lights around my heart. I'll miss you forever, and can only hope one day we can be together again. Love Karen
