Robert Michael van Ravens passed away with the love of his daughter by his side on March 9, 2022 in his 60th year. Father to Angela (Wade), Sarah, and Emily. Opa (Grandfather) to Rylee, Jackson, Audree, and Nathan. Loving son to Nell van Ravens and predeceased by his father Teunis (Dennis) van Ravens. Dear brother to William (Elizabeth), Arthur (Darlene), Edward (Maureen), and Ronald (Hope). He will be dearly missed by all his nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the entering of my son into the rest of Jesus. He took Rob home because he had mercy and compassion on his suffering and set him free. No more pain, no more tears, just eternal rest with the Father. I pray that our God will dry our tears too in His mercy and lift the burden of heaviness for our whole family. My dear, dear son, rest in that perpetual light and peace that Jesus has given you. Rob was loved by so many friends beside his family and we will miss him so much. Until we meet again, my dear son, at the feet of our dear Saviour Jesus Christ.
