In memory of

Robert Sean Hennebury

February 25, 1967 -  May 29, 2022

Robert peacefully passed away Sunday May 29th, 2022 with his wife by his side at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry. In 2019 he received the devastating news that a rare form of cancer had invaded his body. In true form his positive outlook and stubborn nature took hold as he began the journey to eradicate this debilitating disease. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing staff of Oak Ridges Hospice who made Robert a friend and made us feel welcome and safe through the final leg of Robert's journey.

Princess Margaret Hospital and the awesome doctors and staff working endlessly to find a cure for this disease deserve recognition. Robert was privy to experimental trials and brilliant doctors who were invested in his recovery. Their optimism compounded his and we would like to voice our appreciation for their relentless efforts.

Survived by his loving wife, Margaret (de Souza), son James (Raquel) and daughter Meghan (Bryan). Robert has joined in eternity, Donald Hennebury, and Robert Walsh. He predeceases his Mother, Phyllis Doyle, sisters Sandra Baker (Brydon), Ceilidh Kay (Josh), Cathy Caseley (Brian), Kerrick Walsh and brother Kenneth Doyle (Sandra). His nieces and nephews Dawny (Ryan), Aislyn, Kyle David, Shelby, Ian, Matthew, Andrew, Allison, Archer, Marshall, John, Liam and Charlie-Mae. He is also remembered by his many close friends, colleagues and those he met through his many obsessions.

You are so unbelievably loved and missed in every facet of our lives, Dad, Love, Uncle, Brother, Friend, Mentor and Coach.

In lieu of flowers we are asking for donations to be made in Robert’s honour to Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry and/or Princess Margaret Hospital.
