I just wanted to say that Robert was a great guy and had a fabulous sense of humour. He always put a smile on my face with his constant jokes. Simple jokes but funny. Robert always had a great smile. He was a pleasure to assist. Robert always made us laugh also when he would yell out for assistance. Robert and I would share a cigarette sometimes when his personal caregiver could not make it. We shared this bad habit together. He is greatly missed, we are all so sad that he has passed.
sincerely,
Evelyn and friends

My sincere condolences Jane.
All of us at Maple Health Centre were very saddened with the passing of Robert.
Robert was a true gem. He loved to tell us jokes, always was pleasant and very patient waiting for us. His life had changed during his years with us at Maple Health Centre and yet he never complained. His humour and upbeat personality will always be remembered and also his pleas for an extra cigarette!. He was one of my favorites for sure.
This quote always makes me feel better during these times.
"Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." Author unknown.
He will be forever in our hearts.
I am so sorry I will be away for his service. Please keep in touch.
Sincerely,
Mary Pound
