Peacefully passed on April 19, 2017 at True Davidson Acres in his 97th year. Survived by his loving wife Estelle and his brother Jimmy. Devoted father to Sharron, John (Robin), Carolyn (Ken) and Janice (Don). Cherished grandfather to Matthew, Alan, Stephanie, Melodie, Jamie, Kyle and Tracey and great-grandchildren Katie and Alyssa. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Jocelyn Charles and the team at Sunnybrook Hospital, as well as the staff at True Davidson Acres. A private cremation has taken place, with a Celebration of Life to follow on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the MOUNT PLEASANT FUNERAL CENTRE (375 Mount Pleasant Rd., Toronto, 416-485-5572 - enter through East Gate entrance, north of St. Clair Ave. and follow signs to Funeral Centre). In memory of Robert, donations may be made to Sunnybrook Hospital.
