Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Sleeman) of 65 years.
Loving father of Tim (Sonya) and Cathy (Brian) Ervine.
Proud grandfather of Kevin (Crystal), Karen (Pete), Matthew (Michelle), Michael (Amanda) and extended family Nicholle and Jeff.
Cherished great grandfather of Carmen, Wyatt, and Colton.
Bob was a long time employee of 38 years at GM Automotive and enjoyed spending his retirement years with family and friends.
A private funeral service has been held.

We will cherish the fond memories that we were so fortunate to have made over the years. Not only was Uncle Bob a character with a great sense of humour he was a fine man and a true gentleman. Uncle Bob.....so many memories.....the yellow convertible( cool Uncle Bob), the family picnics, babysitting on New Years Eve. The list goes on and on.
Aunt Shirley, Tim, Cathy and families, Ken and I are so sad that you have lost an amazing husband, a caring dad and fun grand father. Our hearts are with you even if we can’t be there in person. Sending hugs

Dear Aunt Shirley, Tim and Cathy. So sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Bob. Our sincere condolences from myself, Ron and Ted Jr. who is now retired from teaching in China and living in Kitchener. This is a difficult time to lose a dear family member but we wish you peace, joy in your memories and all the best in 2021.
