In Loving Memory of Robert Campbell

Robert Campbell, a beacon of kindness and strength, passed away on April 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories on both sides of the Atlantic.

Born on April 15, 1941 (on a train) in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Robert known as Bert to all, lived a life filled with passion, compassion, and dedication to his family and friends.

Throughout his journey, Bert faced life's challenges with unwavering courage and resilience. He approached every obstacle with grace and determination, inspiring those around him with his steadfast spirit.

Bert was a devoted husband, father, and friend, whose unconditional love and unwavering support touched the lives of many. He treasured every moment spent with his family, creating lasting bonds of love and unity.

In addition to his profound familial ties, Bert started out his journey as a respected professional footballer in his native Northern Ireland playing for many teams. However, his greatest accomplishment was off the pitch, meeting and eventually marrying his treasured wife Norma.

Bert's kindness, generosity, and genuine warmth endeared him to all who knew him. He had a remarkable ability to connect with and disarm others with his infectious charm, leaving a lasting impact on the lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Norma; his children, Paul (Jewel), Linzi (Jamie), Darren (Dana) and Neil (Athena). Grandchildren: Madeline, Alana, Steven, AJ, Steven and Madison. In addition his remaining family in Belfast and a wide circle of family & friends. Though Bert may have left this world, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Alzheimer Society of Toronto in Bert's memory.

May he rest in peace, knowing that his love and legacy will continue to inspire and uplift others for generations to come.

Forever in our hearts, Bert will be remembered fondly and with great affection.

With deepest sympathy,

The Family of Bert Campbell
