ROBERT BRUCE TOLLEFSON – His family is saddened to announce Robert passed away on September 10 following a short battle with cancer. Our rock star and bass player extraordinaire is now flirting with the angels and keeping them laughing. We’re sure he has had time to organize a heavy metal gig and the heavens will be rocking. He was only 50 years old. He will be sorely missed by his family and his legion of friends from around the world. Funeral will be Saturday, September 24 at Pine Hills Funeral Home, 625 Birchmount Rd, Scarb. Friends may gather starting at 2 pm with the service at 3 pm. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Too short a life - but what a life! Lots of laughs, tremendous achievements, a huge positive influence on a whole bunch of people, close friends, world travel, good times, laughs... It does not get any better than that!

Myrna and Deb, I am still trying to wrap my head around Rob's death. He was more like a member of our family. As you know we spent a lot of time with Rob and we will treasure those memories.

May you find peace and comfort knowing that Rob was loved dearly and respected by many friends near and far.

We will be in attendance for the visitation.

I have know Rob since my early 20's. Now 50. He was a steadying influence on me in some of my more tumultuous years. We worked, travelled and spent many hours in pursuit of leisure activities together. All great memories for me. You will now find out if the horns are really on the helmets or because of the Akvavit.

My humblest condolences to Myrna and Deb as well as his extended family and friends.
