I was a wonderful man with an awesome sense of humour. He will be missed.
A beautiful service for a wonderful man. I’m still in shock that I won’t see Bob anymore. We met at Canada Post and had known each other for years. I was blessed to have met him and I will forever miss him. Rest in peace Bob xoxo
I first met Bob in January 2005 at SCLPP when l was assigned to his crew on the same EFM in the SLB section. Unknown to me he was an easy going character who would spread rumours of imminent closures and layoffs. He was “ bad news Bob “ as one of the full timers stated. He dropped me off home countless times after our late evening shift, but it wasn’t until we retired that our friendship was more involved and l got to know “ no rush “ Bob as a person who would always be there in a crisis or if needing someone to talk to at 3:30am ! I’ve lost my best friend and only real friend. I’ll miss our meetups at “Wally’s” at 9:15 on Sundays usually, and our many overnight chats. Thanks again Bob for all your support and help over the last 19 years. I know Bob would say “ no problem “.
