In memory of

Robert "Bob" Wade

April 12, 1933 -  December 9, 2022

Robert (Bob) Wade, 89, of North York, passed away quietly on December 9th, 2022.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Ann (née Hasenflug); children David (Breda, née Treacy) and Elizabeth (Robert Burns), and six cherished granddaughters who stole his heart.

He was predeceased by parents Dr. W.W. Wade and Gladys (née Turney).

Bob had a 40-year career with CIBC but his greatest pleasure was spending time with family and friends. He loved being active outdoors. This was reflected in ski trips to Vermont and cottage-life on Gull Lake.

A funeral service will be held in his honour at 1pm on Monday, December 12th, 2022 at Glenview Presbyterian Church, Toronto.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or a charity of your choice, in lieu of flowers.

Oh, Ann -- my heart is so sad for you. As you grieve the loss of the love of your life, God will hold you through the pain and help you find comfort as you honour and remember and relive your life together with Bob. Your children and grandchildren will surround you with their love. All your nursing classmates are also surrounding you with love and prayerful energies as you begin this part of life's journey. Our thoughts are with the Wade family at this sad time. Bob and Ann welcomed us to Gull Lake and passed on their love and memories of the lake to us. Bob was a true gentle man and he will be missed but not forgotten.

His love for skiing, Gull Lake dogs and horses was definitely passed down through children and grandchildren. His gentle nature and kind smile will be remembered. RIP
