In memory of

Robert 'Bob' Radcliffe Streeter

August 31, 1932 -  February 25, 2023

Robert (Bob) Streeter, suddenly on February 25, 2023, in his 91st year, surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his parents, Rose and Bill Streeter, and siblings, Harry, Brian, Barbara, and Alan.
Beloved husband of 15 years to Yvonne Streeter (Clark).
Beloved husband of 52 years to the late Marion Streeter (Fox), 2006.
Bob was a loving father to Stephen (Joyce), Marty (Barb), Darlene (Domenic) and later to Wayne (Anna), Brant (Dianne), and Susan. He will be forever fondly remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Michael (Micaela), Emerson, Juliet, Colin (the late Dani), Carson, Philip (Katelin), the late Danielle Streeter, Jamie, Samantha (Jesse), Sonni, Dylan (Elise), Joseph (Sara), Devin, Elise, Miranda (Jeff), Joanna (Michael) Carter, Jason (Alisha), Wesley and Joshua.
Bob lived a full life filled with many successes, including a distinguished career with the Toronto Police Service (Badge #15), followed by a second career as a professor at Seneca College in King City. Family, friends and colleagues will remember Bob’s kindness, gentle nature and captivating smile. He was blessed with many happy years of retirement where he enjoyed time with Marion and family in Bobcaygeon, Peterborough and multiple winter vacations in Myrtle Beach, Florida and Mexico.
Later in life, Bob found love for a second time, and enjoyed many happy years with Yvonne and family. Embraced by his family, Bob was always surrounded by love and laughter until his final days.
Whether walking the beaches on southern vacations or spending time at the cottage on Morrison Lake, Bob loved being close to water. A loyal Jays and Leafs fan, Bob enjoyed his final evening watching the Leafs win in overtime.
Bob was grateful for each and every day, and those fortunate enough to know and love him were equally grateful.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 4, at 1:00 pm with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga. Reception to follow.
In Bob’s memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated.

A link to view the livestream will be made available at the top of the memorial page at 1:50pm on Saturday, March 4th.
A recording of the service will be available under the 'media' tab shortly thereafter.

A life well lived! What an honour to read his story. A story of service, courage, hard work, family and love.
Dear Darlene, we want our loved ones to live forever and in your heart, your father will. He was a remarkable man, loved and respected for all he did and all he was. May your father's spirit rest in the arms of Our Father. Please be gentle with yourself in the days ahead and please accept our tears at this great loss. Sending you all our love and courage to you and your family. Mirian and Gian <3
