In memory of

Robert "Bob" Hudson

March 11, 2019

After a short stay in hospital, with his wife by his side; Bob's life peacefully came to a heart-breaking end on the morning of Monday March 11th, 2019; just a month shy of his 70th birthday.
Though Bob had been batteling diabetes for years, and was awaiting a kidney transplant; his family could have never prepared for the terminal, fibrosis lung disease disgnosis which took him from us much too soon.
While in hospital, Dad faced his mortality with; love, humor, and unprecedented courage. Cracking jokes, watching curling, and eating popsicles; right up until his last breath.
Bob will be remembered as an honorable husband, loving father and son, and supportive brother and uncle.
Bob's quirky sense of humor, unconditional love, and infectious smile will be forever missed and cherished by those who survive him: Wife Linda (Janes), daughter Sara (Michael Godin), and son Scott (Carolyn MacCuish). Sister Sharon (Mike Lelievre), nephew Nicholas, brother Colin (Gerri Pittman), and mother Valerie (Newman). Pre-deceased by his father Basil 'Doug' Hudson and in-laws Norman Janes, and Dorothy (Hickley) Janes-Hair.
As per Bob's wishes, the family will be hosting a celebration of life on Sunday March 17th 2019 from 1pm-4pm @ The Simple Alternative 1535 South Gateway Rd. Mississauga. Donations can easily be made to The Kidney foundation of Ontario, or the charity of your choice at the celebration or by contacting The Simple Alternative directly.
We welcome everyone impacted by Bob's life to join us during this difficult time.

Bob was a great guy with a great sense of humour, we had many laughs together at John Fraser. My thoughts are with his family!

Bob, Can't believe you are already gone to a better place. You were the kindest man, and greatest co-worker. Havent seen you since you retired, but just seeing your name in an email today brought great memories. This world needs more people like you in it. RIP.

We were very saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. Our deepest condolences to you all at this very sad time. We had many good times with you and Bob while being neighbors a few doors away. Whenever we see bamboo lanterns we laugh at the memories of Bob and the slip and slide in your back yard.
So sorry for your loss
