In memory of

Rita Ruth White (nee Berger)

March 18, 1962 -  July 16, 2025

Rita passed away at home in her sleep on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the age of 63. She was a beloved mother to her five children: Kris (Mai), Sonya (David), Sabrina (Kamel), Shannon (Adam), and Jacky. Rita will also be greatly missed by her eight grandchildren: Claton, Faith, Molly, Bella, Jacob, Amber, Jackson, Nicholas, and one great-granddaughter, Madison.

Throughout her life, Rita worked tirelessly to ensure her family was well taken care of. She worked a full-time job at Tim Hortons as a baker for 25 years, where she provided for her five kids. She was dedicated to providing for them, often putting their needs before her own. Her children were the center of her world.

For the last ten years, Rita battled various health issues but remained strong in her fight. All she needed during those challenging times was the support of her beloved children.

A memorial visitation will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K 1R1) on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 1:00pm-2:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm for anyone who wants to come.
