Rick passed away on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023 after a very brave battle with cancer. He wanted to stay home as long as possible and did. He passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones. A kind, humorous, generous and positive minded man who was loved by all who knew him.

Rick was a professional mechanic with a passion for cars. He and his brothers collected various vintage models and their shared interest dominated many a conversation (unless he was arguing with a Leafs fan in favour of his beloved Montreal Habs).

Rick is survived by his loving wife Barb (nee Barr) of 55 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Bob, Ken and Russ and sisters Sharon, Barb and Chris. Predeceased by brothers Harry, Ron, Ray, Bud, Terry and sisters Lois and Nancy. Rick was a much loved and respected brother-in-law of the Barr family; Tom, Doug, Cathy and predeceased by Al, Paul and Darlene.

Born the 10th child of Norm and Martha Percy, who both passed away many years ago, Rick was the joyful uncle at many large gatherings and will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.

A luncheon will be held at General Sikorski Hall at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
