In memory of

Richard Myers

July 1, 1954 -  January 25, 2021

Richard “Rick” passed away peacefully January 25, 2021, at home in Toronto. He was surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by Deborah his best friend and loving wife of 40 years and his dearest daughter Caila. He will be dearly missed by his brother Gregory Myers and Mother-in-law, Geraldine Moscato, brother-in-laws; Tony DellaVentura and Robert Moscato, his sister-in-laws; Tina DellaVentura, Katherine Moscato and Nancy Myers and his dear nieces; Larissa DellaVentura, Megan Moscato and Camryn Moscato as well as his daughter’s fiancé Max Careau and the families dearest member, their family-pet Louis.

After battling 9 years of prostate cancer & colorectal cancer and at the age of 66, Rick left us with strength and dignity.
Rick was an inspiration to all those who had to fight the beast of cancer. He never gave up and he always encouraged everyone to think positively.

Rick was so passionate about his love for skiing, sailing, fitness and was an avid fan of F1 Racing. Rick shared his life with so many dear friends and cherished all the memories. A celebration of life will take place in Collingwood in the summer when group gatherings are allowed. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Sinai Health Foundation for the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care.

We just want to say that we were blessed to know Rick. His positive supportive heart was a true gift to us going through my moms battle with cancer.
He was an inspiration in so many ways. I truly believe it's not goodbye . Its till we meet again.

Sweet dreams our friend .
God Bless
