January 31, 1952 - August 30, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rick on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the age of 64. He is deeply missed by his beloved and cherished wife of 36 years Margaret McAuley. He was the loving father of Matthew (Heather) and Tara-Lyn and the proud Papa of Krysten, Justyn, Alex and Sydney. He is sadly missed by his brothers Kim, Peter, Alvin and Murray, his sister Yvonne and many extended family and friends. All are welcome at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), on Thursday, September 8th at 1 p.m., followed by a Memorial service at 2 p.m. and a Celebration of Life reception from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. If so desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. My heart is heavy today with the news of Ricks passing.
Some of my fondest memories of Rick came from our time working together at The GEM Theatre Keswick.
Tara-Lynn, Justyn & Krysten- your Dad/Papa was one of the most amazing men I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He could light up a room (and darken it just as quickly haha ;) ). He had a larger than life personality, and I'm grateful to have had the chance to work with him.
