I cannot begin to express how truly sorry I am that he was given such a short time, but I have to trust and remember that God knows best. Prudence, with all my heart my darling, I pray that God will give you the strength to be the courageous mother you need to be for your children. May the peace that passes all understanding, along with the comfort that only God can give, wrap their arms around you and never leave. Most people cannot imagine your pain, but I know it very well. It's a road I prayed you would never walk on for many more years, but God knows the plans He has for all of us. Rest in peace Richard, and watch over your family as I know you are now their guardian angel.

I met Richard in the building on Victoria Park...he was 10 years old and i was 18. Richman (which is a name given to him from the guys in the building) was always hanging with the big boys. Not long after being introduced to the group he became our little brother..always with us wherever we went. I use to babysit him when his mom went to work and we would play video games all night...i introduced him to west Indian food and he introduced me to Philadelphia creme cheese and toast. From a young child he would always ride his bike to Ashtonbee play ground to watch me play cricket..I could write forever about Richman and his kind and humble ways. He was a good kid never in trouble. He was given the nickname Richman due to a cartoon that he enjoyed on TV about a little boy name Richie Rich..therefore the name Richman was given to him. My heart aches to write this condolence. Ill always treasure the time we had together never a mean word about anyone, always fixing things , and just a happy kid. Ill miss you Richman, forever in my heart ...and to his wife and children you will be in our prayers.
I love you Richman!!
