In memory of

Reva Ruth Rose Lawry

April 6, 1937 -  June 1, 2024

Saturday evening June 1, 2024, our beautiful and infinitely energetic mother passed away at North York General with her loving family by her side. Her passing occurred suddenly and with minimal pain. Full of life to her very end, she continued to walk every day and prepare for her next role in an upcoming theatrical production. She is predecesased by her son Steven and survived by her six children and four spouses, 24 grandchildren, and their 13 spouses, and 34 great-grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life in Reva's honour.

There will be no Shiva as per Reva’s wishes.

To the Lawry families,
I am so sorry for your loss.
Reva was a great mentor to me as well as a terrific performer. I had the pleasure of
being part of her plays when she ran her Medina Theatre Group.
she was an amazing person, and a very nice person.
My heart is broken of her passing.
My condolences go out to her entire famiy (Toronto & Isreal)

Reva was a remarkable woman. She had a big personality. She was in her 80's and still acting and dancing and running Medina Theatre Ensemble.

I remember doing a Holocaust play with her and the female version of the play "The Odd Couple"

I known Reva since 1985, and she was totally in love with the theatre.

For several years I was in the same tap classes at Scarborough Village Community Centre with Reva. She was a delightful, talented, energetic and courageous lady. I particularly loved the way she came barrelling into Scarborough with her bumper sticker that said "God gave Israel to the Jews". He did indeed, Reva! You are going to be greatly missed.
