He pastored for 40 years in Longueuil Quebec, until moving to Brampton in 1993 to help with his special needs grandson, Sebastien.

Robert was one of the pioneers of the Pentecostal movement in Quebec. He advocated for Protestant children to attend school in the French language. He was a man of many talents with NO limitations. His moto was "If someone else can do it, I can do it too" The words Impossible or Failure, did not exist in his vocabulary.

His nickname was "Caboche",which means in English "Strong Willed" Robert was a man of great faith, who was determined and unmovable in his belief in Jesus until his last breath.
