In memory of

Renil Simon Amin

November 29, 1988 -  January 3, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Renil Amin on Tuesday, January 03, 2023 at the age of 34. We are devastated and saddened by this tragic loss. Renil is survived by his loving parents Roland and Cecilia and grandmothers Ajji (Janet) and Nana (Eliza). He was a wonderful brother to his sister Renesse and brother-in-law Matthew. Beloved nephew to Norman, Theresa, Sylvia, Ronald, Monica, Elizabeth and adored cousin of Nicole, Simone and Samantha.

Music and God have always played a central part in Renil’s life. His faith never wavered and he was always a loyal dedicated servant of the Lord. He found his calling in worshipping the Lord and never missed an opportunity to play. For over 18 years, he has been a part of the choir ministry at various churches, always happy to volunteer his time and talent. He loved to sing and play instruments, playing the guitar for the choir team at the young age of 15 in Abu Dhabi. Recently he returned to professional studies and successfully passed the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam and was looking forward to a change in career.

He was a man of few words but his presence spoke volumes. The first thing you noticed about Renil was his beautiful smile that lit up any room he’d walked into. Always humble and loving, he would greet his dad with a sweet kiss on the cheek every morning. He will be remembered as the kind, gentle soul ready to greet anyone with open arms. Whether in ministry or friendship, Renil was always someone to depend on. He was a loyal and devoted son and brother who values God and family above all. His contagious laugh and indomitable spirit will live on.

His legacy will carry on, reminding us that we can choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service. While his time here with us was too short his memory will live on in our hearts forever.

Please join us celebrating his life Friday afternoon, January 13, 2023 at The Simple Alternative - Mississauga. from 4 - 5 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 5 p.m.

For friends and family unable to attend in person, the Funeral Service will be available for viewing via a link on Renil's memorial page 10 minutes prior to the start time of 5 p.m.
